Volunteer Workshop Facilitator
We are looking for Volunteer Workshop Facilitators in the following areas:
And gain a greater understanding of personal finances so they can take charge of their financial future.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, as well as presentation • Ability to effectively apply counseling knowledge • Ability to assess barriers, develop action plans, and assist clients in problem solving and attaining goals • Efficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Vehicle required for travel to meetings and interviews
Education: • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field, such as social services or education. Completion of secondary school and several years’ experience related to career counselling may replace formal education. • Minimum of two years’ experience preferred. Newsletter Aide: Assist with all phases of creating a newsletter, including but not limited to help with writing articles, creating artwork and/or pix, gathering poetry and other data for newsletter
Web Designer: Assist with web additions/enhancements, also working with web optimization.
Marketing Assistant: Assist our marketing team with calls generated to expand our programs; assisting with PowerPoints, designing flyers, process mass mailings for special events, etc.
